Expand your knowledge and prepare yourself for the summit on 13th February 2013 through this series of intimate events.
All the Routes to Market events will be followed by a free networking event.
Money is a key requirement to grow a business, so we will cover a wide range of potential sources for funding; how to get it and what it does.
From crowdsourcing to production finance; to investments in equity or IP from VCs and angels; loan financing from banks and other lenders; and grants from University or Government sources, including the forthcoming Video Game Tax Credits.
For many companies and start-ups, the focus is often on what they want to make: how an app will work on a particular phone for example, or what features a product will have. But what happens when you think about building a company, and not a product?
In this session we will learn from experts who understand what it means to build a long term business, how this has affects thinking and helps take a much longer term strategic approach.
For some of us networking, social media, scheduling our time, delegating work and other day to day activities don't come so naturally.
For our third session we'll be tackling the practical skills needed to manage workflow and promote your product/game.
We'll also prepare you to engage with the summit in February.
